Peach State Star Gaze

The Atlanta Astronomy Club presents the 26th annual Peach State Star Gaze, a week long event from October 20 through October 27. The new Moon will fall on October 27.

Meals can be pre-ordered (and it is recommended) by visiting Micki's Kitchen.

All 30 and 50 AMP RV Power connections must be reserved! They are assigned on a first come basis.

If you missed it last year, the Deerlick Group has added:

Some more pads on the field.

Additional power outlets on the field.

New propane hot water heater in washrooms.

The PSSG will be held at the Deerlick Astronomy Village .

* Large open field, 10+ acres, for tents, RV's or Campers.

* Coffee, refreshments and meals available on-site by Micki's Kitchen.

* Restroom / Shower Facilities

* Limited power available for scopes along the fence line.

* A 40' x 40' pavilion. This includes a Gas BBQ available for use.

* RV 50 AMP and 30 AMP connections are available for a small additional charge. (See registration forms.)

This year's event will open at Noon on Sunday October 20th and continue through to noon Sunday October 27th. Come for all days and nights or come for just one. Meet other professional and amateur astronomers.

Deerlick Astronomy Village

The PSSG is held at the
Deerlick Astronomy Village, DAV.

The DAV is located in the very darkest skies in central Georgia, far away from big city lights. .
