On-Site Volunteers

If you wish to volunteer, to help us bring you a better PSSG, check the following descriptions and send us an email via the 'Contact Us' link below.

Check-In Office

(2 volunteers; 3 at peak time would be better)

• 2 hour shifts
• There will be a complete registration list for you to work from.
• 1 person to greet the folks and guide them to pull to the side
• 1 person to check off names and hand out name badges, t-shirts, parking decal and other material
• Know the layout of the field, using a site map.
• Radio field crew on in coming cars
• Register walk-ins

Field:

(2 – 3 people, 3 needed at peak times)

• 2 hour shifts
• Guide cars & RVs onto the field (After they have checked in). RVs, and large campers will be parked toward the edges of the field. Look for their PSSG parking decal to make sure they have checked-in.
• Make sure that space is used efficiently

Sunday Clean up:

• General cleanup.
• Replace red light bulbs with the original white bulbs. (returning the red bulbs to the PSSG Staff) Collecting any club red lamps that were used.
• Make sure all garbage is off of the field
• Tear down and pack up tents. Return all tables and chairs that were used.

General:

• Cleanup trash – maintain neatness
• Washroom - Cleaning and stocking.
